Canyon Creek

Ross Lake Area

Miles: 7 miles roundtrip

Elevation: 800 feet gained

A historic walk through deep forests, this trail, which is an old road, passes many creeks. The road was established by miners long before Highway 20 was built. This hike will bring the historian out of you as ideas of the miners that once used this area, surface to the forefront of your thoughts.

  • Get there: From I-5 take Highway 20 east past Marblemount to milepost 141 and find the trailhead just beyond on the left. There is a restroom at the trailhead.
