Mount Baker Highway 542
The trail starts heading down on the ridge above Swift Creek between Shuksan Arm and Artist Point. At 2.5 miles there is a junction with the Swift Creek Trail at which you now start heading uphill. Climb to the saddle above Lake Ann and drop down. Before reaching the lake there is a junction with the Shuksan climbers route to the left and the Lake Ann campsites to the right.
- Get there: Going east on Mount Baker Highway (542) at about 23 miles past the town of Glacier about 1 mile before reaching Artist Point. It is on the left hand side of the highway.
